Over the past couple of weeks I’ve seen many people I follow or listen to speak on the subject of mental health, specifically their own and it’s gotten me to think about my own issues. Continue reading On Mental Health
On Internet Etiquette – Comments
Whether you’re writing a comment, or you’re writing a blog post, etiquette is hugely important. You wouldn’t walk up to a stranger and tell them “that’s a terrible pair of shoes.” You wouldn’t tell a random person “Your hair looks funny.” I’d hope you wouldn’t turn down an invitation to a birthday by standing on a podium in front of a large group of people and say “I will not be attending this!” It’s rude, it’s unnecessary – But I think the technology we have is in part to blame.
The One Liners Tag Challenge
This week I was nominated not for a blogger award but something much more intriguing, a challenge! Specifically, it was the One Liner Tag challenge, and I have to thank Megan from A Geeky Gal for the nomination as well as congratulate her for the wonderful one liners she wrote! Continue reading The One Liners Tag Challenge
Sunshine Award: The Answers
Recently both Megan from A Geeky Gal and Luna from the GamersUnitedGG Blog nominated me for the Sunshine Blog Award, a recognition for bloggers that inspire positivity, joy, warmth and any other emotions that you feel when you think about the sun. I have to admit, there aren’t many people who’d consider me a sunny personality but I’ll take it. The rules state I have to nominate more people, but I’m fairly sure anyone I nominate will already have been nominated by those who nominated me or are the one who nominated them in the first place. Skills Development: On Retraining
Recently, a colleague of mine asked me to well “retrain her” on web development skills, as she knows about my web ventures with GeekOut South-West. Naturally then, I figured this was a perfect opportunity for me to retrain her not just for her benefit, but for my own. As such, I figured I’d write an article about what I’m doing to retrain her – and most importantly, how this can benefit anyone with any skill. Continue reading Skills Development: On Retraining
Let’s Cancel – Hollow Knight
I really don’t even have to say it, as there hasn’t been a new episode of my Hollow Knight playthrough for a long long time. Part of it is due to the changes I mentioned in the past weeks, but there were other important reasons.
Firstly, I just didn’t feel like playing the game and the more time passed, the less I wanted to do so. Continue reading Let’s Cancel – Hollow Knight
Health & Fitness
I mentioned a few days ago that I had some reasons for not streaming on Twitch as often as I used to, or at all. One of the reasons I mentioned was that I didn’t have the paints or the materials needed for some of the Gunpla projects. The other reason is health.
Now, I’m not sick, I’m ok, but I am severely overweight and have been for quite a while now and I’ve decided to finally take measures about it. I’m tired and done with this weight. I’m tired of all the negatives associated with this weight, including how fast I feel fatigued. I’m also tired of looking at clothes I’d like to wear and having a mental image of how it’d look and realising I can’t get it because they don’t have my size. It’s not for vanity, not to look good, but because it makes getting clothes really difficult. Continue reading Health & Fitness
Ahhh Frustrating Gameplay, kinda sounds like Annoying Game Mechanics, doesn’t it? I had my little part in this, but everyone contributed with Shelby!

E3 Highlights (For me)
A few hours delayed but I had to sort my ideas about this year’s E3 and catch a few more videos, demos and other bits of news. Then I had to make up my mind on which I thought were the best and which ones I really didn’t care about, and boy there’s a lot I don’t give a damn about.
Starting with the now tired notion of “who won E3?” Which is rather pointless, to be honest.
But let’s not get into that, and focus on the really important thing about E3, the games! Continue reading E3 Highlights (For me)
