New YouTube Stuff Incoming!!

Last week we kicked off a new era of content on YouTube. We went back to Jade Empire, to continue my Open Palm playthrough, acting as yet another gullible, innocent sap to get enough points for the game’s “Light Side.” It’s a pretty fun game. The first episode was a longer one, cut directly from a Twitch broadcast, and with no commentary since I forgot to turn on the mic…I do that sometimes.

But that’s not all. Starting today you’ll have three LawfulGeek Let’s Play series on The Mental Attic’s YouTube channel. The first is of course, Jade Empire, but I’m also moving along with the plan to go through all classic Tomb Raider games in reverse order and the next in line is Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation. Finally, we’re playing another RPG, the latest in the Tales series: Tales of Zestiria.

You’ll find new episodes Monday to Friday in this schedule:

At the time of publishing this article, the new episodes aren’t live yet, so check back in a few hours to watch them!

But that’s still not all. Here’s a list of some of the games I’ll be playing in the coming weeks/months. And if you have a suggestion on which game you’d like me to tackle, please do so and I’ll do my best to give it a go!

  • Star Wars: Republic Commando
  • Psychonauts
  • Tomb Raider 1, 2 & 3
  • Dracula 3: Path of the Dragon
  • Shadows of the Vatican
  • The Longest Journey, Dreamfall and Dreamfall Chapters
  • Costume Quest 2
  • Dropsy
  • SOMA

But how does this play with the LawfulGeek stream you might wonder? Months ago, you might remember, I started broadcasting on YouTube as well. My idea and hope was that it would help bridge the content and the community on The Mental Attic’s channel and the stuff I’m broadcasting on Twitch, but the truth was that it was confusing for the audience to see me chat to people they couldn’t interact with and it was a bit too hectic for me, to keep an eye on both chats, engage both communities and still play the game.

So, from now on all Livestreams will go on the LawfulGeek channel on Twitch, with YouTube being the place for the Let’s Play series. But don’t worry, as I’ll continue to show you highlights of the recent broadcasts on YouTube.

If you like the videos, live or recorded ones, drop a like, a comment or a share in either channel. I’d really appreciate it. And if you subscribe to The Mental Attic’s YouTube channel, you’ll get instant notification of when the next episodes go live!

I love everything readable, writeable, playable and of course, edible! I search for happiness, or Pizza, because it's pretty much the same thing! I write and ramble on The Mental Attic and broadcast on my Twitch channel, TheLawfulGeek
