Opening the Attic

Hello everyone, hope you’re having a fantastic week.

As the title states, I’m opening The Mental Attic’s doors to everyone who’s interested. Do you have something to write about, something you need to get out of your chest or your head but can’t find the place to do it? You are welcome to do so here. If it’s in your head it belongs in The Mental Attic. I might not say this very often, but The Attic for me has always been a place for a variety of ideas, a place for different minds to meet, and it’s taken me some time to realise that the only way to do so is to open it up for all of you.And it’s not just rants. Maybe you want to review a game, or a TV show or film, or tell a story, or share your experiences as a hiker (or hitch-hiker). Maybe you’re an artist and want to share your creations or use us to spread the word about your deviant art profile and gallery, we don’t mind, come here and let’s work together (and who knows, maybe you can help us finally have some cool art in this place!). If you’re a musician, cool, we like good music!

You may want people to know your name or you may want to remain anonymous. It doesn’t matter really, The Attic is here for your needs. It doesn’t matter if you’re famous or someone from a dark corner of the world and the internet, as long as you have something to share, The Attic’s doors are open to you.

But how does it work? Well, write us through our Contact page and tell us about you and what you’re interested in doing in The Mental Attic. We’ll get in touch with you and ask you to send over whatever it is you want to post. We’ll then set up your post as Contributor and add you to our Contributor list page (in the works right now), unless you wish to remain anonymous. If you post regularly, we’ll discuss the possibility of you joining our team as a regular.

After you send things in and before we upload it, we’ll work with you to edit your posts and writing to make sure it’s as polished as possible. This also means that if you’re not a native English writer and your grammar isn’t perfect, we’ll help you get it right.

I hope you have a great weekend,

Kevin

Note: We reserve the right to reject any post that doesn’t feel right for The Attic. As much as we want this to be a place for all ideas, there are some things we just don’t want to work with. But don’t let this stop you as we’re very, very, very open minded about everything.

I love everything readable, writeable, playable and of course, edible! I search for happiness, or Pizza, because it's pretty much the same thing! I write and ramble on The Mental Attic and broadcast on my Twitch channel, TheLawfulGeek
