On Monday we had third week of gaming contestants make their way through the perilous and demanding course that is The Beast, using all their skills to accrue as many points as they could. Twelve competitors became eight, then five and then the remaining and best two, Cole MacGrath and Spyro the Dragon, met face to face for Level 4, with Spyro’s tail and wings nabbing him the title of Beastmaster, earning 10.000 of whatever currency they use in dragon land.

Spyro
Don’t let the cuteness fool you, this dragon defeated the beast!

But as this week closes and another looms, new challengers emerge from the shadows of the gaming industry and the internet, ready to face the Beast and join Mega Man X, Lara Croft and Spyro in the grand final for the title of Ultimate Beastmaster!

Some of our sponsors are taking a break so it’s up to me to fill the week’s roster and what better way than to bring an all-star team from the world of Point & Click adventures. These heroes have done it all and we’ll see how they fare against the Beast. Drakulus is back yet again with another formidable roster, including the Princess of The Mushroom Kingdom herself! Luna’s decided to break the bank and bring in the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta out for a spin, but we’ll see just how well this man plays by the very strict rules of the Ultimate Beastmaster! I’m very curious to see which of Chris’ competitors will have a better performance, the Keyblade wielder or the veteran spy! If we’re lucky, Kim’s pick won’t kill us all!
