The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Weapon Durability Lore

Plenty has been said about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with one complaint common among them: weapons break too fast and you can’t repair them.

I don’t have a problem with this mechanic personally. I find it really fun to switch weapons on the fly, mid-combo, when I notice them about to break or right after that happens. After all, I can always find a new weapon to replace the old one and there are many weapons strewn throughout Hyrule. Hell, I know where I can make some of them! Tomorrow’s the day. Can you hear it in the distance, the countdown to the Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild reaching its end? Is the theme song of Terminator 2 playing in your mind as it is in mine? No? Oh well.

Tomorrow I’ll probably hold off on any article until I receive the care package and set it all up for an unboxing video, so let’s use today to reveal the number 1 entry in my Top 5 The Legend of Zelda titles, one that those who know me will undoubtedly predict.

Just one week to go before the Nintendo Switch arrives and I get to enjoy the next instalment in the glorious The Legend of Zelda series. You can’t imagine the goosebumps I have just thinking about it and I’m counting the days until I can play with the Nintendo Switch.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know what makes me more excited, having the Switch on Launch Day or having a new Zelda to play. Probably the latter. As you know, I have a very close relationship with The Legend of Zelda.

But let’s get to down to what we’re all here for, my number 3 in the Top 5 favourite Legend of Zelda titles:
