Last week, I mentioned I wanted to do a few things differently with the YouTube channel, and at some other point I mentioned I would be leaving one of the LawfulGeek Plays slots empty for a while as I wanted to do a few more edits and prepare videos more thoroughly.
To that end, and because I’m a bit impatient and want to move things along as fast as I can, I’ve decided to use this week to air the remaining episodes of Darksiders.
Next week I’m planning to do the same thing with the Tales of Zestiria episodes, if only because I am honestly tired of recording episodes for that game. I love it to bits, but sheesh it can get long and that last boss fight is complete and utter nonsense in its difficulty spike. I still haven’t found the right gear to take care of the bastard and having to grind money to raise merchant levels and buy mithril weapons is getting on my nerves.
So as soon as it’s done, I’m going to push all episodes on you and hopefully you will like it!
But there’s another reason. The change to two episodes per week per series had some effect on the number of views the videos got, but nothing really too drastic. Some are watching, but most aren’t. So, while this may be the fact that none are interested in the games I’m playing right now—which my YouTube Analytics supports—I want to do a tiny experiment to see how many views the vids get when they’re the only thing coming out that week.
In terms of my recording plans, I’m working right now on getting the last remaining things for my mic setup plus I’m looking into some sound treatment for my room, to remove some of the annoying ambient echo. Also, while my buddy Timlah from GeekOut South-West recommended I use audacity for clearing out the echo on recordings, if any of you know how to do the same thing while live, please let me know in the comments!
That’s all I had to say today, so without further ado, I’ll leave you with the first of the last episodes of Darksiders! Every day until Thursday, I’ll have two episodes at the usual times: 9:30am and 2:30pm GMT!

Good luck with everything :].
I’ve been wanting to get back into making videos, but I don’t have any space in my house right now to sit down and record peacefully :].
I have the room but it has so much echo that even french-kissing the mic isn’t enough to get rid of it! 🙂
