This was Halloween!
Another one has come and go, full of cheers, jeers, screams and scares. Children dressed up in scary costumes, “grown children” dressed up in scary costumes and even pets did the same. There were cemeteries, haunted houses, cursed manors and so many more home decorations out there that you could feel the spirits in the air. On my end, I didn’t go out trick or treating or to celebrate with the rest of this city. I stayed indoors playing horror games and then watching horror films. The reasons for not going out are varied, but I won’t bother you with the details. What we should focus on is the amazing stuff I played through this weekend. I played The Park, then Soma by the amazing Frictional Games. After that, I took a walk through Spence Mansion in the Resident Evil Remake Remaster Rehash Rebirth in the Highest Defition the Gamecube could handle and took out Necromorphs on The Sprawl in Dead Space 2 before heading into the creepy world of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth, trying out the new Greed Mode before doing a full run with Azazel.
The Binding of Isaac is a recurring game on my broadcasts and you can be sure I’ll continue to play it to discover everything Afterbirth has to offer. I will start a Soma Let’s Play after Extra Life 2015 this weekend (click here for more information on the event and prizes!), and I might take up any of the other games I played in the coming weeks, but Soma comes first because it intrigued me.
For your viewing pleasure I’ve cut the different videos and you can see them right here or on our YouTube channel. I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I enjoyed making them and talking to people in the YouTube and Twitch chats! I had a few technical issues with Resident Evil (and the playthrough was embarrassingly bad) so I’m not including that one though once on the YouTube o Twitch channels you can check the footage for the entire Halloween Special. You can also find the full playlist here.
Hope I see you all during this weekend’s Extra Life
